Here's what you do!

WRITE IT - What is the best handmade gift you have ever received?

CREATE IT - For this week's assignment I thought it would be fun to have a small gift exchange with other classmates from Raining Umbrellas! We have students from all around the world taking part in this e-course. Wouldn't it be great to receive a small handmade gift from another student?!

Here are the guidelines:

1. Please send me an e-mail (matissecolor@gmail.com) with this information:

~ Your name

~ Your home address

~ Your location (city, country, region)

~ A few of your interests (nature, art, cooking, etc.)

I'll contact you by e-mail with the name and address of the person you'll be sending your gift to and then you can take care of the rest! :)

* Also, please remember that if you sign up for this exchange it is a commitment on your part. There's someone waiting expectantly for your package to arrive. :)

2. Your gift needs to be handmade by YOU. Use any medium of your choice.... draw, paint, sew, or photograph. When thinking about your project, keep in mind what you personally would enjoy receiving in the mail and also consider the interests of the person you're making the gift for. Make sure it is wrapped attractively (not elaborately) and be sure to keep your project fairly simple so you don't become overwhelmed. This is supposed to be fun, after all. ;)

3. Your supply/postage costs should not go over 20-25 dollars. In fact, if you can use the supplies you already have on hand, that's all the better!

4. Please make sure your package is in the mail no later than March 15th. :)

5. If not enough students show interest, this assignment will be cancelled. xo
